Greenpeace action saving dophins from polluted waters. The photograph has been refashioned using photomosaic freeware, linked to Google’s Image Search function. The final result is a composite of 10,000 images available on the Internet that responded, as search criteria, to the names of all the corporate members of CEFIC, the European Chemical Industry Council, that has spent millions on lobbying against stronger chemical legislation and responsible, according Greenpeace, of toxic wastes in the oceans. The Cefic corporate members list is: Air Products, Akzo Nobel, Basell Polyolefins, Basf, Bayer, Borax, Borealis, BP, Celanese, Ciba, Clariant, Cognis, Degussa, Dow Corning, Dow Europe, DSM. Du Pont de Nemours, Eastman, ExxonMobil, FMC, Honeywell, Huntsman, Kemira, Lubrizol, Lyondell Chemicall Europe, Mapei, Novartis International, Polimeri Europe, Procter & Gamble, Repsol-YPF, Rhodia, Rohm and Haas, Sabic, Shell, Solvay, Syngenta, Total, TVK, Unilever, Wacker-Chemie.
